When playing back a DVD
Searching for the title/
chapter
You can search by selecting the title or chapter.
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
“DVD” appears in the display, then
place a disc.
2 Press DVD DISPLAY to display the
control menu display on the TV screen.
The main items appear.
3 Press V or v repeatedly to select the
“TITLE” or “CHAPTER” icon on the
TV screen, then press ENTER.
“ ” changes to “— — ”.
The number in parentheses indicates the total
number of titles or chapters.
4 Select the number of the title or chapter
you want to search for using the
numeric buttons, then press ENTER.
The player starts searching. To cancel the
number, press CLEAR before pressing
ENTER.
To cancel selecting
Press RETURNO.
Notes
• The number of titles or chapters displayed is that of
the titles and chapters recorded on the disc.
• Depending on the DVD, direct selection of some
titles or chapters may be prohibited.
