Playing VIDEO CDs with
PBC functions (Ver. 2.0)
When playing VIDEO CDs with PBC functions
(Ver. 2.0 discs), you can enjoy simple interactive
operations, operations with search functions, etc.
PBC Playback allows you to play VIDEO CDs
interactively, following the menu screen on the
TV screen.
Refer to the instructions supplied with the disc, as
the operating procedure may differ according to
the VIDEO CD.
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
“DVD” appears in the display, then
place a VIDEO CD with PBC functions
(Ver. 2.0).
2 Press DVD N to start playing a disc.
The VIDEO CD indicator lights and a PBC
menu appears on your TV.
The PBC indicator lights during PBC
playback of a PBC compatible VIDEO CD
(Ver. 2.0).
3 Press V or v repeatedly (or the numeric
buttons) to select a number from the
menu, then press ENTER.
4 Continue according to the instructions
on the menus to enjoy interactive
playback.
