To cancel PBC Playback of
VIDEO CDs with PBC functions
(Ver. 2.0)
There are two ways to cancel the PBC functions.
• Before you start playing, select the track you
want using ./>, then press ENTER or
DVD N.
• Before you start playing, select the track
number using the numeric buttons, then press
ENTER or SELECT.
The PBC indicator disappears and playback
begins from the selected track. Still images, such
as the menu screens, will not be shown.
To select a menu number using
the remote
Press the numeric buttons in the order you want in
step 3.

Stop playback
Go to the next scene
or track
Go back to the
preceding scene or
track
Go back to the
previous menu
Do this
Press x.
Press NEXT.
Press PREV (or PREVIOUS
on the unit)
Press RETURN O (or
RETURN on the unit).
Tips
• When playing VIDEO CDs with PBC functions,
PBC playback starts automatically.
• When you press NEXT during menu playback or
while playing moving pictures, the next scene on
the disc appears. Also refer to the instructions
supplied with the disc.
Note
Depending on the VIDEO CD, “Press ENTER” in
Step 3 may be expressed as “Press SELECT” in the
instructions supplied with the disc.
