When playing back a CD/VIDEO CD
Searching for the track/
index/scene
You can search by selecting the track/index/scene.
When you playback a VIDEO CD/CD,
“TRACK” and “INDEX” are displayed. When
you playback a VIDEO CD with PBC functions,
“SCENE” is displayed.
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
“DVD” appears in the display, then
place a disc.
2 Press DVD DISPLAY to display the
Control Menu display on the TV screen.
The main items appear.
3 Press V or v repeatedly to select
“TRACK”, “INDEX”, or “SCENE”,
then press ENTER.
“ ” changes to “— — ”.
The number in parentheses indicates the total
number of titles or tracks, indexes, or scenes.
4 Select the number of the track, index, or
scene you want to search for using the
numeric buttons, then press ENTER.
The player starts searching. To cancel the
number, press CLEAR before pressing
ENTER.
To cancel selecting
Press RETURNO.
Notes
• The number of tracks displayed is that of the tracks
recorded on a disc.
• The index numbers are not displayed during PBC
playback of VIDEO CDs.
