Triggering C4630 SE EXTRA COMMAND Macros From the K1 and K2
The K1 and K2 triggers for the C4630 SE EXTRA
COMMAND macros are included in the SonanceIRLibrary_2006 file, which
can be downloaded from the Sonance website (www.sonance.com). Once you’re at the website select the E
LECTRONICS
category. From there, select the C4630 SE and go to the D
OWNLOADS section. Follow the instructions to download the IR
library file.
The C4630 SE Extra Command triggers can be programmed into
K1 and K2 buttons just like any other remote control command:
1. After opening the Navigator Program Manager and choosing a
keypad, left-click the S
ELECT
NEW REMOTE button on the Library
Manager. Select the C4630 SE E
XTRA COMMANDS library

).
2. Select the desired Extra Command trigger and drag it to the
button you want to trigger it (

).
3. Use the Sonance Control Manager software to program the
selected C4630 SE Extra Command macro into the C4630 SE,
as explained in
C4630 SE E

, on page 47.
NOTE: Although you can also program
C4630 SE Extra Command triggers as
elements of K1 and K2 macros, it is not
recommended. When the C4630 SE
executes the Extra Command macro it
will prevent the keypad macro from com-
pleting until the Extra Command macro
has completed. See Using Internal
Macros with External Programmable
Keypads, on page 47, for details.
