This procedure installs the
Solaris
7 3/99 operating system using the
system software and disk partitioning already specified.

As the disks are partitioned and the system
files are copied to the disk, the progress gauge is updated to
indicate the progress of the installation, and takes about 40
minutes to reach 100%. At that point the progress window
disappears. A console window appears in the upper left corner
of the screen and the installation continues. The remainder of
the installation can take several hours, depending upon the
number of disks installed.
