Step 9: Set up the
/cms
mirror 2
1. Edit
/etc/vfstab.
Copy the d19 entry to the succeeding line. Then
comment out the original and change “d19” to “d21”. For example:

2. Save the
/etc/vfstab
file and exit the editor.

4. Activate the new metadevice (d20):
5. Verify that d20 is active:
6. Initialize the newly created mirror (d21):
7. Attach the new metadevice (d20) to the newly created mirror (d21):
8. Reboot the system by entering the following command:
# export PATH=$PATH:/usr/opt/SUNWmd/sbin:/olds
# metainit d20

# metastat d20
