Using Headphones
You can connect a pair of stereo headphones (1/4-inch

Notes:
•Turn down the volume before connecting your head-
phones.
While a pair of headphones is connected to the

(Any speakers in Zone 2 continue working.)
When a pair of headphones is connected, the listening
mode is set to Stereo, unless it’s already set to Mono,
Stereo, Direct, or Pure Audio. When you disconnect
the headphones, the previous listening mode is
resumed.
Only the Stereo, Direct, Pure Audio, and Mono listen-

input source.)
When you use the multichannel inputs, only the front
left and right channels can be heard in the headphones.
