Using Bluetooth Features
You can operate a Bluetooth device by
connecting the receiver and a Bluetooth device
using AVRCP.
Check the following before playing music:
The Bluetooth function of the Bluetooth
device is turned on.
Pairing has been completed.
1 Press BLUETOOTH to select
Bluetooth function.
The receiver automatically connects to
the last connected Bluetooth device.
If you cannot connect with a last
connected Bluetooth device, press
BLUETOOTH on the receiver.
Once the connection is established,
proceed to step 3.
2 Establish a connection from
the Bluetooth device.
For details, refer to the operating
instructions of your Bluetooth device.
3 Start playback from the
Bluetooth device.
You can also press N on the remote
control.
4 Adjust the volume.
Press MASTER VOL +/– or 2 +/–
(or MASTER VOLUME on the receiver).
Note
Depending on the type of Bluetooth device,
you can adjust the volume using the controls of
the Bluetooth device.
Notes
Once the connection is established, the device
name appears on the TV screen and
“BLUETOOTH” lights up on the display panel.
To disconnect from a Bluetooth device, press
BLUETOOTH on the receiver. You can also
disconnect from a Bluetooth device. For details,
refer to the operating instructions of your Bluetooth
device.
While connected to a Bluetooth device, this
receiver cannot be detected and a connection
cannot be established from another Bluetooth
device.
If you cannot connect with a paired Bluetooth
device, perform the pairing operation between the
receiver and the Bluetooth device again.
If the input has been set to “BLUETOOTH” when
you turn on the receiver, the receiver automatically
connects to the last connected Bluetooth device.
To operate the Bluetooth device
using the remote control
* If no Bluetooth device is connected and you press
N, the receiver automatically connects to the last
connected Bluetooth device and play back the
music.
Note
These operations may not be available for certain
Bluetooth devices. In addition, the actual operations
may differ depending on the connected Bluetooth
device.
To check the information of a
connected Bluetooth device
You can check the Bluetooth device
information by pressing DISPLAY repeatedly.
Each time you press DISPLAY, the display
will change cyclically as follows:
Bluetooth device name t Bluetooth device
address t Sound field currently applied t
Volume level t Input you selected
Playing music of a Bluetooth
device
Press Operation
N*Starts play.
X Pauses play.
x Stops play.
m/M Fast reverses or forwards.
./> Goes to the previous/next file.
