4.7.5 Communication Control Commands
43)
COMMUNICATION CONTROL
LD/CD
Function: Communication mode is selected.
Format: Integer C M
Explanation: Contents of the communication control register (CCR) are
rewritten. For the CLD-V2600 and the CLD-V2400, the
Automatic Status can be selected ON or OFF. When Automatic
Status is ON the Player returns an “R” upon execution of a
command, when it is OFF, it does not.
The initial value (default value) of the CCR is set to Mode 3. With
this command, it is possible to change the communication mode
as required. If an unsupported mode is specified, an error occurs.
Execution: * CCR = 3 Player’s set to CCR Mode 3; no ‘“R” is returned
2 C M <C/R> (Note: No “R” is returned here, as player is in
currently in CCR Mode 3.)
* CCR = 2 Player is in CCR Mode 2, “R” is returned
3 C M <C/R> R <C/R> (Note: “R” is returned, as player is
in CCR Mode 2.)
* CCR = 3 Player is in CCR Mode 3, no ‘“R” returned
