Triggering DAB1 E
XTRA COMMAND Macros From the K1 and K2
The K1 and K2 triggers for the DAB1 EXTRA COMMAND macros are included in the SonanceIRLibrary_2006 file, which can
be downloaded from the Sonance website (www.sonance.com). Once you’re at the website select the E
LECTRONICS
category. From there, select the DAB1 and go to the DOWNLOADS section. Follow the instructions to download the IR library
file.
The DAB1 Extra Command triggers can be programmed into K1
and K2 buttons just like any other remote control command:
1. After opening the Navigator Program Manager and choosing a
keypad, left-click the S
ELECT NEW REMOTE button on the Library
Manager.
2. Use the O
PEN LIBRARY button to select the
S
ONANCEIRLIBRARY_2006.CML file, then select the C4630 EXTRA
COMMANDS library (
Figure 73
).
3. Select the desired Extra Command trigger and drag it to the
keypad button you want to trigger it (
Figure 74
).
4. Use the Sonance Control Manager software to program the
selected DAB1 Extra Command macro into the DAB1, as
explained in
DAB1 E

C
OMMAND
Macros
, on page 50.
NOTE: Although you can also program
DAB1 Extra Command triggers as ele-
ments of K1 and K2 keypad macros, it is
not recommended. When the DAB1 exe-
cutes the Extra Command macro it will
prevent the keypad macro from
completing until the Extra Command
macro has completed. See Using DAB1
Internal Macros with K1/K2 Keypads, on
page 50, for details.
