UNCTION, UNIT, ZONE and VALUE parame-
ters for the Internal Command, drag the icon into the M
ACRO Window
to place it in a macro (see
Figure 57
).
Status Test
If you want a macro command to execute only if a certain condition
exists, add a Status Test command before the command in question. The
following conditions can be used to determine if a macro executes: This
Zone Is ON, This Zone Is Muted, Source 1 Is Selected, Source 2 Is
Selected, Source 3 Is Selected, Source 4 Is Selected, Any Zone Is ON,
Page Trigger Is Set.
To insert a Status Test command, select the desired condition and drag
the icon into the M
ACRO Window (see
Figure 58
).
Time Delay
Some audio/video components respond to IR
commands more quickly than others. Adding a
Time Delay after a macro command can give a
component additional time to process the
command and perform the required action
before the next IR command in the macro
sequence is sent. This can be especially useful
when sending commands to multi-disc CD and
DVD changers that can take several seconds to
retrieve and load a selected disc. Adding a Time
Delay command after a ‘disc select’ or ‘disc play’
command can help keep the system in sync.
To insert a Time Delay into a macro, select or
type the desired delay amount and drag the icon
into the M
ACRO Window (see
Figure 59
). You can
set a delay of 0.1 seconds up to 240 seconds.
