PROGRAMMED PLAY
You can program up to 48 selections
from all loaded CDs to play in any or-
der you choose. A selection can be a
single track or all tracks on a CD.
Notes:
• You can store a selection more
than once in a programmed
sequence.
• You cannot display the remaining
time for the entire CD during pro-
grammed play.
Programming and Playing a
Sequence
1. With play stopped, press
MEMORY
(next to
CLEAR
) on the CD
changer.
The current CD’s number and
AL
(all tracks on the current CD)

appear on the display, and
PROG
.
flashes.
2. Select the desired CD.
Note:
To store all tracks on the
selected CD (as a single selec-
tion), skip Step 3.
3. Repeatedly press
SKIP/SEARCH
or until the
display shows the track you want
to program.
4. Press
MEMORY
(next to
CLEAR
)
on the CD changer.
PROG
. stops
flashing, the CD changer pro-
grams your selection, and the
number under
STEP
on the dis-
play indicates how many selec-
tions you have made.
5. Repeat Steps 2–4 to program
more selections.
Note:
If you try to program more
than 48 selections,
FULL
appears.
6. To play the programmed se-
quence, press
PLAY/PAUSE
on the
CD changer (or
CD
on the
remote control).
After the CD changer plays the last
track in the programmed sequence, it
stops.
Notes:
• The programmed sequence stays
in memory after playback is over
(see “Clearing the Programmed
Sequence” on Page 38 for how to
clear the programmed sequence).
• You can skip to other programmed
tracks during programmed play.
• You can use audible search dur-
ing programmed play by pressing
and holding down
SKIP/SEARCH
or . When the
CD changer reaches the end of a
track during audible search, it
pauses at the beginning of the
next programmed track. When the
CD changer reaches the begin-
ning of the current track, it pauses
there.
