Recording an MD on a tape

4 Press ENTER/YES.
The track is programed.
“Step” appears, followed by the number of
the track in the programed sequence. The
number of the last programed track appears,
followed by the total playing time of the
program.
Tip
When you want to reduce the hiss noise in low-level,
high-frequency signals, press DOLBY NR after step 4
so “;” appears in the display.
Note
If “Cannot SYNC” appears, a disc or a tape is not
loaded or you cannot record on that tape (see pages
79 and 80).
Recording your favorite MD
tracks
— MD-TAPE Synchro Recording
You can select your favorite MD tracks with the
Program Play feature, then record the program on
a tape using the MD Synchro Recording feature.

1 Press MD to switch the function to MD.
2 Press PLAY MODE repeatedly until
“PGM” appears in stop mode.
