Installing the software onto your computer
This section explains the installation of the SonicStage Ver. 1.5 software supplied with your
Net MD.
Before installing the software
t Make sure to note the following before installing the software.
O Do not connect the dedicated USB cable before the installation!
The SonicStage software may not correctly load or operate if the dedicated USB
cable is connecled 1oyour computer during the installalion.
O Close all other Windows applications before starting the installation!
Make sure to close any virus-check software, as such software usually demand large
amounls of system resources.
2 Depending on the following operating system or software already installed
on your computer, refer to the reference pages before installing the
software.
Windows XP ib install this software, you must log on with a
=_ page 102 user name wi_h "Computer Administrator".
If you perform the "System Restore" lhnction in
lhe Windows "System 'lk)ols" menu, 1be tracks
managed by SonicStage may become corrupted
and rendered unplayable.
Windows Millennium Edition If you perform the "System Restore" lhnction of
=_ page 103 _he Windows "System Tools" menu, 1be tracks
managed by SonicStage may become corrupted
and rendered unplayable.
Windows 2000 You must log on as "Administrator" before
=_ page 103 installing the software.
OpenMG Jukebox, Depending on the version of your software, 1he
SonicStage, or SonicStage existing software may be overwritten by 1he new
Premium version or it may co-exist with SonicStage
