• When Ihe power mode is set to "QUICK", tile
power remains on within the recorder even
when nolhing appears in the display. This
leads to a shorter baltery life. For this reason,
it is recommended that you charge tile battery
daily.
If no recorder operation (including opening or
closing of file lid) occurs for an hour, the
power in tile recorder automatically mm ott2
For this reason, the next time you slart
ployback or do anodler operation, the recorder
will not respond quickly. The unit, however,
will return to quick mode afterwards.
Protecting your hearing
(AVLS)
The AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter
System) function keeps down lhe
maximum volume to protect your ears.
1 Enterthemenuandselect"OPTiON"
- "AVLS".
2 Select "ON'.
When you try 1o turn 1he volume 1oo
high, "AVLS" appeors in the display.
The volume is kept to a moderate
level.
To cancel the AVL$
Select "OFF" in step 2.
Viewing various information
1 While playing, enter the menu and
select "DISP'.
2 Select the inlbn_aation you wm_t.
Each time you press _ or IDt_I, the

Depending on whether group play or normal
play is selected, the operating conditions, and
the disc settings, you may nol be able to select
certain indications or the indications may
appear different.
