Adjusting treble or bass
(Digital Sound Preset)
You can adiust the treble and bass m suit
your taste. The player can slore two sets
of treble-bass adjustments, which can
d_en be selected later during playback.
Selecting the sound quality
Factory settings
Factory settings of the Digital Sound
Preset 3re as follows:
"SOUNDI": bass +1, treble _0
"SOUND2": bass +3, treble _0
1 Press SOUND repeatedly to select
"SOUNDI" or "SOUND2" in the
display.
To cancel Digital Sound Preset
Select "OFF" in step I.
Adjusting the sound quality
You can change the preset sound qualily
and slore the results in "SOUND1" or
"SOUND2".
1 Press SOUND repeatedly to select
"SOUNDI" or "SOUND2".

2 During playback, press SOUND for 2
seconds or more.
The recorder changes to B (bass)
setting mode. Pressing jog lever
changes the recorder to T (treble)
setting mode.

When youselect bass-settingmode,
"8" appears. When you select treble
settingmode, "T" appears.
Slide the jog lever repeatedly to
adjust the level.
Example:While adjustingthe bass
Thecursormoves.
(Position: -2)
-4 -+0 +3
Thesoundcan be adjustedin 8 steps
(-4, -3, ..._*0, ...+2, +3).
To switch "B" (bass) and "T"
(treble):
Press 1hejog lever.
To switch "SOUND1" and
"SOUND2":
Press SOUND.
