4 To select a preset service, touch a preset
service name on the list.
The preset service you selected is tuned in.
# When the list of services is not displayed,
touch LIST.
5 To select a service, briefly touch c or d.
# You can also select a service by pressing c or
d button.
6 To select an ensemble, keep touching c
or d for about one second and release.
# You can cancel ensemble search by touching
either c or d shortly.
# You can also perform ensemble search by
pressing and holding c or d button.
Note
If you do not use the touch panel keyswithin 30
seconds, they will be hidden automatically.
Switching the DAB display
Labels can be displayed on the information
bar.
% Touch DISP.
Touch DISP repeatedly to switch between the
following settings:
Service L (service label)Component (ser-
vice component label)DLS (dynamic label)
Ensemble (ensemble label)PTY (PTY
label)
Note
With a service component that has no service
component label, dynamic label orPTY label,
switching to Component, DLS and PTY is not
possible.
Storing and recalling
broadcast frequencies
% When you find a service that you want
to store in memory, keep touching one of
preset tuning keys P1P6 until the preset
number stops flashing.
The number you have touched will flash in the
preset number indicator and then remain lit.
The selected service has been stored in mem-
ory.
The next time you touch the same preset tun-
ing key the service is recalled from memory.
# When the touch panel keys are notdisplayed,
you can display them by touching thescreen.
# When P1P6 are not displayed, youcan dis-
play them by touching LIST.
Notes
! Up to 18 services, six for each of the three
bands, can be stored in memory.
! You can also use a and b buttons to recall
services assigned to preset tuning keys
P1P6.
Using dynamic label
Displaying dynamic label
1 Touch TEXT to display dynamic label.
# You can cancel dynamic label display by
touching ESC or pressing BAND/ESC.
# When no dynamic label is currentlybeing re-
ceived, NO TEXT is displayed.
2 Touch PREV or NEXT to recall the most
recent dynamic labels.
Touching PREV or NEXT switches between the
current and the three dynamic label data dis-
plays.
# If there is no dynamic label data in memory
the display will not change.
