Adjusting the Tone and Balance of Zone 2
Notes:
Only analog input sources are output by the ZONE 2
PRE OUT and Zone 2 L/R speaker terminals. Digital
input sources are not output. If no sound is heard when
an input source is selected, check if it’s connected to
an analog input.
While Powered Zone 2 is being used, listening modes
that need surround back speakers (i.e., Dolby Digital EX,
DTS-ES, and THX Ultra2 Cinema) are unavailable.
While Zone 2 is on, functions will not work.
You cannot select different AM or FM radio stations
for your main room and Zone 2. The same AM/FM
radio station will be heard in each room. For example,
if you have an FM station for the main room, that sta-
tion will also be used in Zone 2.
Zones can also be unmuted by adjusting the volume.
The Zone 2 level, balance, and tone functions have no
effect on the ZONE 2 PRE OUT when the “Zone2
Out” setting is set to “Fixed” (page 117).
