Editing the MD titles
Assigning a title to a disc
or track
When titles are assigned to a disc and its tracks,
the titles can be displayed during playback.
The titles can also be used in searching tracks
by titles.

Select the MD input and in-
sert a recordable MD.

Press the TITLE INPUT key.

Press the 4 or ¢ key re-
peatedly until "DISC" or the
track number to be titled
("001", etc.) is displayed.

Press the SET key.

Press the CHARAC. key re-
peatedly to select the desired
character group.
"Aa" : Alphabet group
"12" : Numeral group

Press the numeric and char-
acter input key repeatedly
until the desired character is
displayed.
For the characters that can be used in titles,
se "Title editing character list" (page 36).
Press the CLEAR/DELETE key to clear the
character which is blinking.
Press the SPACE key to input a space
character.

Press the SET key to enter
the selected character in
memory.
Compose the desired title by repeating
steps 5 to 7 for each character.
Pressing the CLEAR/DELETE key clears
the character located immediately before
the cursor.

After composing the title,
press the ENTER key.
The title is recorded in the MD and scrolled
on the display.
To assign other track titles, repeat steps 3
to 8 for each.

Press the TITLE INPUT key.

Eject the MD.
"WRITING" is displayed.
