PICTURE CONTROL IN ADJUSTMENT MODE
The picture control menu is split up in two parts :
Signal operations
and
Screen operations.
Signal operations
: to manipulate the video signal, e.g. sync slow/fast, color balance adjustment etc.
Screen operations
: to manipulate the projection window and the picture, e.g. shift, stretch, enlarge and reduce.
Signal operations.
Select first the Picture Control menu on the Main menu by pushing
the control disk up or down.
Press
ENTER to select.

Push the control disk up or down to select Signal Operations.
The default setting for all items are shown in the menu next to this text.
To change a value in the Signal Operation menu, select first the item
by pushing the joy stick up or down and follow then one of the two
following methods :
a. direct access, with the numeric keys on the RCU or local keypad.
b. scrolling by pushing the joy stick to the right or to the left until the
desired value (image quality) is obtained.

Video offset
Default value : 100
To adjust the Video offset, be sure the contrast level is adjusted to
maximum (bar scale value = 64) (brightness setting has no influence)
and the color saturation is set to zero (for video). When possible use
a grey scale test pattern. Adjust until the second last bar (dark grey)
is distinguishable from the last bar (black).
Gain
Default value : 200
To adjust the Gain, be sure the contrast level is adjusted to maximum
(bar scale value = 64). When possible use a grey scale test pattern.
Adjust until the first white bar is distinguishable from the second white
bar.
