Repeat Playback 2
Repeat Playback of a Designated Section
(A-B Repeat)
Start playback and designate the point at which the A-B
repeat should start (point A) by pressing the A-B button.
“A TO B SET A” appears on the screen and the “A” indicator
lights up in the front panel display.
When the point at which repeat playback should end
(point B) is reached, press the A-B button again.
“A TO B SET B” appears on the screen and the “A-B”
indicator lights up in the front panel display.
The designated section will be played repeatedly.

When playing a CD/VCD, the point A and B should be
selected from the same track.

The SCAN button (,) can be used to fast-forward to point
B after designating point A.

There should be more than one second between A and B.

To cancel the A-B Repeat, press the A-B button again.

Random Playback
Tracks of a disc will be played randomly.
Press the RANDOM button during playback of CD.
“Random” appears on the screen, and “RANDOM” indicator
lights on the front panel display.
< This function is only available for CD.
<
If you press the / button during random playback, next
track will be randomly selected and played. A track cannot be
replayed during random playback.
<
To stop random playback, press the RANDOM button.
<
To cancel random playback and go back to normal play, press
the RANDOM button.
<
If one of the following buttons is pressed, random mode will
be cancelled:
STOP, OPEN/CLOSE, STANDBY/ON, FUNCTION, AUX, TAPE,
FM/AM
DVD/VCD/CD
CD
