Selecting Songs
You can select songs from the CD to
be played using any of the following
methods.
Selecting the previous/next song
Touch [
] to return to the begin-
ning of the song currently being
played. Touch [
] again to play the
previous song.
Touch [
] to play the next song.

A quick method for selecting the pre-
vious or next song
Touch [
] to change the MULTI
KNOB to Tune/Scroll mode, then
turn MULTI KNOB to the left to
begin playback of the previous song.
Turning MULTI KNOB to the right will
begin playback of the next song.
• If the volume changes, touch [
] and then turn the MULTI KNOB
back and forth.
Selecting songs from the list
Touch [Tracks] and then select the
song you want to listen to by touch-
ing on it.
Touch [ ] while the list is being
displayed and then after setting
the MULTI KNOB to Tune/Scroll
mode, turn MULTI KNOB to the left
to move the cursor to the previous
song. Turning MULTI KNOB to the
right will move the cursor to the next
song.
Press the POWER button to play the
song that has been selected.
• If the volume changes when you turn
the MULTI KNOB, touch [ ] and
then go through the same proce-
dures.
Scrolling through the pages of the list
Touch [
] while the list is being dis-
played to display the previous page.
Touch [
] while the list is being dis-
played to display the next page.
Returning from the list display to the
song that is being played
Touch [
].
Touch [
] or [ ] when the names
of all the songs will not fit on the list
display to display letters in a scrolling
format.
Playing the Songs on a CD in
Random Order
Touch [RAND] to play the songs on
the CD in random order.
Touch [RAND] again and the songs
will play in their usual order.
Repeating Songs
Touch [RPT] to repeat play of the
song that is currently playing.
Touch [RPT] again to cancel the
repeating of the song.
Pausing the Playback of Songs
Touch [ ] while a song is being
played to pause playback. Retouch it
to resume playback.
