Baud Rate BAUD RATE
1. Move the cursor to BAUD RATE with the [D] or [C] but-
ton.
2. Select the rate with the JogDial, and press the JogDial.
The default value is 9600 bits per second.
4800: 4 800 bps
9600: 9 600 bps*
19200: 19 200 bps
Data Bit DATA BIT
1. Move the cursor to DATA BIT with the [D] or [C] but-
ton.
2. Select the bit length with the JogDial.
The default value is 8 bits.
7: 7 bits*
8: 8 bits; select 8 when using the PS
DATA protocol.
Parity Check PARITY CHECK
1. Move the cursor to PARITY CHECK with the [D] or [C]
button.
2. Select the check mode with the JogDial.
The default is NONE.
NONE: No parity check
EVEN: Even parity
ODD: Odd parity*
Stop Bit STOP BIT
1. Move the cursor to STOP BIT with the [D] or [C] but-
ton.
2. Select the number of stop bits with the JogDial.
The default is 1.
1: 1 bit*
2: 2 bits
Wait Time WAIT TIME
The unit retransmits data after waiting the specified time if
there is no response from the connected device.
1. Move the cursor to WAIT TIME with the [D] or [C] but-
ton.
2. Select the waiting time with the JogDial.
The default is OFF.
OFF: Retransmission is disabled. *
100 MS: 100 m seconds
200 MS: 200 m seconds
1 S: 1 second
Control Unit Address CTL-UNIT
ADDRESS (exclusive for PS
DATA)
When the recorder performs as a controller in the system,
the unit address can be set from the setup menu on the
monitor.
1. Move the cursor to CTL-UNIT ADDRESS with the [D] or
[C] button.
2. Select the address with the JogDial.
The default value is 1.
Assignable address: From 1 to 99, must be unique in
the chain.
Note: Assign an address except 1 to WJ-HD200 when
using a system controller in the system.
System Unit Address SYS-UNIT
ADDRESS (exclusive for PS
DATA)
When the recorder performs as a system unit, the unit
address can be set from the setup menu on the monitor.
1. Move the cursor to SYS-UNIT ADDRESS with the [D] or
[C] button.
2. Select the address with the JogDial.
The default value is 1.
Assignable address: From 1 to 99, must be unique in
the chain.
Alarm Data ALARM DATA (exclusive
for PS
DATA)
The recorder pauses before sending a notice to the con-
nected system controller when an alarm operates.
1. Move the cursor to ALARM DATA with the [D] or [C]
button.
2. Select the parameter with the JogDial, and press the
Jogdial.
The default is 1S.
OFF: Select this when no system controller is connect-
ed.
0S: Pauses no time.
1S: Pauses 1 second.
5S: Pauses 5 seconds.
