IBM PS1500 Stereo Amplifier User Manual

Basic concepts 3•13
Data Entry
Inserting numeric values, selecting options and
navigating between the PS1500 parameters of
the edit pages is achieved with specific controls:
Navigation (Function Select buttons F1…F8),
Page+/Bank+, Page–/Bank– buttons.
Data Entry (DIAL, Function buttons F1…F8,
Sliders F1…F8, Keyboard, ENTER and ES-
CAPE buttons).
NAVIGATING
Use the Function buttons to navigate from one
parameter to another in the Edit pages.
Selecting a parameter with the corresponding
Function button activates the parameter for a
change of value or status.
For example, you can change the Sound (Pro-
gram Change) assigned to the Tracks of a Pre-
set in Page 1 of «Edit Preset» by activating the
required track with the corresponding Function
button. The selected track starts to flash, indi-
cating that it is ready to accept a change.
In some cases, the location of a parameter cor-
responds to two (or more) function buttons: the
parameter can, therefore, be selected by one of
the corresponding Function buttons.
Use the Page+/Bank+, Page–/Bank– buttons to
pass from one edit page to another. Use the same
buttons to change Sound bank in Sound selec-
tion situations.
