Connecting to the TV or Projector using Component Video
This conguration shows the DMC-1 connections to the “main” video display where video output
is taken from the Component Video outputs (the Red/Blue/Green trio) labeled “MAIN” on the back
panel of the DMC-1.
This conguration will give the best picture quality, especially if the video source component output
begins as a native Component Video output. Remember that with the video transcoding feature,
the DMC-1 will still allow your Composite or S-Video source inputs to up convert to the Component
Video outputs, but you should always connect the highest quality video signal available.
