1500 SCSI CDROM
test unit ready
Issues a SCSI test unit ready
command to all selected devices at
least twice. The response to first
command should return a SCSI “check
condition” (not reported to the user)
since the SCSI bus will have been
reset. After approximately one second,
the command is sent again. If the
second test unit ready fails, an error is
reported. The test unit ready
command will not cause a SCSI data
phase to occur.
1505 SCSI CDROM
inquiry test
Executes a SCSI inquiry command
on every selected device. Verifies the
device type field in the inquiry return
data to indicate a CDROM.
1510 SCSI CDROM
read capacity test
Issues a SCSI read capacity
command to every selected device.
1515 SCSI CDROM
read test
Issues a SCSI read command to every
selected device. No data verification is
performed.
