5 To programme additional tracks, repeat
steps 3 and 4.
6 Press CD NX (or CD N on the

Press x, then press PLAY MODE

“SHUFFLE” disappear.
Press TIME on the remote in stop
mode. The total number of
programmed steps appears,

Tips
• The programme you made remains after
Programme Play finishes. To play the same
programme again, press CD NX (or CD N on
the remote).
• “--.--” appears when the total CD programme time
exceeds 100 minutes, or when you select a CD track
whose number is 21 or over.

Using the CD display
Checking the remaining time
Press TIME on the remote repeatedly
during play.
The display changes cyclically as follows:
Elapsed playing time on the current track t
Remaining time on the current track* t
Remaining time on the current CD**
* “--.--” appears when you check the remaining time
of a CD track whose number is 21 or over.
** “--.--” appears during Shuffle Play of a CD which
has 21 or more tracks, or during Programme Play
when a CD track whose number is 21 or over is
selected.
Checking a track title or a
disc title
Press DISPLAY on the remote repeatedly
during play or in stop mode.
The display changes cyclically as follows:
Preset Equalizer name t Clock t Volume
t Track title or disc title*
* The track title appears during play (only for a CD
with CD text), and the disc title appears while
stopped. If a CD that has no title is loaded, nothing
appears.
To scroll a long name
Press SCROLL on the remote.
The title appears scrolling in the display.
Tip
If you press TIME on the remote in stop mode with
CD text containing the artist name, the artist name
appears scrolling in the display.
