Option Function
Video Loss
(selecting this option
brings the Video Loss
Control dialog box up
on screen)
Video Loss is a feature of the 9760 that checks to make sure all camera (or other in-
put) video signals are being received. If a signal is lost, an alarm will sound. A sys-
tem may have 1,000 cameras while an operator is only concerned with five. Rather
than receive an alarm and/or a message each time video loss is discovered some-
where in the system, an operator may Enable the video loss feature only on the five
cameras he wants to know about (and disable the other 995!).
To Enable or Disable the video loss feature, enter the Camera number and then
click on the Enable/Disable button. The status of the Video Loss Control on that
camera will be displayed in the box next to the Enable/Disable button.
üüCamera Lock
This option allows the operator to lock a camera to a monitor. When the desired
camera image is on the desired monitor, click on this option. The camera is then
locked to that monitor.
NOTE: This can also be done via the Manual Selector Window.
