Setting the audio for connected components (NV-701 only)
The following items can be selected by pressing the
MULTI CONTROL keys repeatedly.
“Speakers Distance”

The following items can be selected by pressing the
MULTI CONTROL keys repeatedly.
“D – Auto” (Automatic digital signal selection)
“D – Manual” (Manual digital signal selection)
“Analog”
The following items can be selected by pressing the
MULTI CONTROL keys repeatedly.
“VIDEO1”
“VIDEO2”
÷ The input setting is stored independently for each input.
If you have made connections to components using both
VIDEO 1 and VIDEO 2 input jacks, be sure to perform this
procedure for each component.
÷ Set “D – Auto” or “D – Manual“ when you have made
connections to the DIGITAL VIDEO 1 COAX. IN jack or
the DIGITAL VIDEO 2 OPT. IN jack.
÷ When “D – Auto” is set, the format of the digital audio
signal being input is automatically selected and decoded.
÷ When “D – Manual” is set, the format of the digital audio
signal being input is manually selected using the LSTN
M. key on the remote control unit.
÷ For more details on selecting a digital audio format, see
“Surround play” on page 54.
÷ Set “Analog” when you have made connections to the
AUDIO – VIDEO 1 PLAY IN/REC OUT jacks or the AUDIO
– VIDEO 2/6 CH INPUT discreet input jacks (stereo/6-
channel).
