Listening to an AUX input source
A CD player with an analog or optical digital output, MD recorder, cassette deck or a similar component can be
connected to the system as the auxiliary input source.
Connect the component as described in “Connection of Other Accessories”9.

1Press the AUX key.
2Play the connected equipment.

3Ajust the volume.

1 Press the MD 6 key.
÷ If a MD has already been loaded, it starts to play now.
Press the 7 STOP key to stop it.
2 Set the MONITOR mode to “ON”. ›

Adjusting the input level of the auxiliary source
1Press the menu/demo key.
2Rotate the volume/multi-control knob to se-
lect “AUX D. LEVEL ?” or “AUX A. LEVEL ?”,
then press the set key.
3 Adjust to the desired input level using the
volume/multi-control knob.
4 Press the set key

When the input level is adjusted, the level of recording
of the signals from the auxiliary input source connected
to the AUX (TAPE/MD) input jacks and optical digital
input jack also changes.
