Operation in menu mode
When the power has been left ON for more than
30 minutes while the unit has been doing nei-
ther recording or playback in this period, the
A.P.S. function switches the power OFF
(standby) automatically. Whether the A.P.S.
function is to be used or not can be set with the
following steps.

÷ With the TUNER and AUX input, A.P.S. functions
only when the volume is set to zero.
÷ The LCD shows A.P.S. while this function is ac-
tive.

÷ The setting mode is canceled if no key or dial has been
operated for more than 20 seconds during the above.
1 Press the menu/demo key.
2 Rotate the volume/multi-control knob to
select AUTOPOWERSAVE ?, then press
the set key.
3 Select ON or OFF by rotating the vol-
ume/multi-control knob, then press the set
key.
