Getting Started
Basic Operation
This section describes the basic operation of the DVD. These
operations also apply to the other sources.

Press SOURCE/POWER on the unit to turn the
power on.

Press OPEN/CLOSE to open the monitor.
The unit beeps 3 times and raises the monitor. The
opening screen appears on the monitor.

The Function Guide displays the
labels for each of the Function
buttons. These labels will change
depending upon the functions for
the selected source.

Press SOURCE/POWER.
The display shows the main menu screen.

Turn the Rotary encoder and select "DVD
PLAYER" from the main menu.
If an optional DVD player or DVD Changer is connected and
its power is on, the display shows " EXT.DVD or DVD CHG
, AUX2 " instead of " AUX1 AUX2 ."
If both the optional DVD player and DVD Changer are
connected, the display shows " EXT.DVD " instead of "
AUX1 ", and " DVD CHG " instead of " AUX2 ".

Press the Rotary encoder to execute the
selection.
The DVD player mode screen is displayed.
(The DVD disc is played back.)
If PAGE 1/2 or PAGE 1/3 appears in the Function Guide
menu, there are additional functions available for the selected
source. Access these functions by pressing 7.

Press SOURCE/POWER again to select another
source.
Tip
The action indicator always lights up except for the following cases.
Blinks when the monitor opens or closes.
Blinks when the answer phone has a message. (Only
when Mobile Hub (CXA-B200NK) is connected.)
Does not light up when the Illumination Control (Dimmer)
is set to ON.

(During MP3 playback, shows the
sampling rate and the bit rate of
the MP3 file when it was made.)

Tip
1Press and hold WIDE/DISP. for more than 2 seconds.
The working indicator display in the mode main screen is
switched to the spectrum analyzer display.
2Press and hold again WIDE/DISP. for more than 2 seconds to
return to the working indicator display.
