Backing Up Your Newly Generated COMMAND/POST Configuration
Files
To remove the remaining COMMAND/POST 3.2.3 files from your system and to back up your
new COMMAND/POST 4.1 configuration files:
1. At the prompt displayed in Step 2 on page 30 or Step 2 on page 31, type y to delete the
unused 3.2.3 files or n to preserve them.
Note: There are several COMMAND/POST 3.2.3 files remaining in the directories that are
not used by Sybase 11.0.3 and COMMAND/POST 4.1. A list of these files can be
seen in the /tmp/Post41Install.log log file.
The following messages and prompt are displayed:
2. Perform one of the following steps:
– If you do not want to back up these directories, type n and press Return.
The following message is displayed:
Continue with Step 7 on page 33.
– If you would like to back up these directories, type y and press Return.
The following message is displayed:
3. Perform one of the following steps:
– If you do not want to back up other directories, type n, press Return, and continue
with Step 5 on page 33.
– If you would like to back up other directories, type y and press Return.
The following message and prompt are displayed:
The upgrade to COMMAND/POST 4.1 has been completed and
the following directories need to be backed up:

/usr/nc
/usr/sybase
/home/u/NetCmmnd
/var/spool/NetCmmnd
