Identifying the Location of the Upgrade and Filter Files
To enter the location of the upgrade and filter files:
1. At the prompt displayed in Step 7 on page 27, type y and press Return to continue.
The following prompt is displayed:
2. Perform one of the following steps to specify the directory pathname for the upgrade files
you restored in “Restoring the Upgrade and Filter Files to the COMMAND/POST 4.1
rmdhost” on page 26:
If the upgrade files reside in /home/u/NetCmmnd/upgrade, press Return.
If you restored the upgrade files from tape to the /tmp/upgrade directory, for
example, type /tmp/upgrade/home/u/NetCmmnd/upgrade and press Return.
If the upgrade files reside in a different directory, type the correct pathname and press
Return.
Note: The correct pathname for the upgrade files is listed on the Upgrade Planning Form on
page 7.
The following prompt is displayed:
3. Perform one of the following steps to specify the directory pathname for the filter files you
moved in “Moving the Filter Files to a Single Directory” on page 11:
If the filter files reside in /home/u/NetCmmnd, press Return.
If you restored the filter files from tape to the /tmp/upgrade directory, for example
type /tmp/upgrade/home/u/NetCmmnd and press Return.
If the filter files reside in a directory other than the /tmp/upgrade directory, type the
pathname of this directory and press Return.
This script updates the COMMAND/POST 4.1 AGC Database with the
information gathered by the Pre41Install script and will
re-generate all of your filters.
