and/usr/sybase directories are backed up from the file server workstation, but
the /etc and /var/spool/NetCmmnd directories are backed up from the local
rmdhost workstation. The file server /etc directory is different from the rmdhost
/etc directory and you may want to back up the file server /etc directory
separately.
• These directories are not backed up to the agcdump device. A locally attached
tape drive or disk file on the COMMAND/POST 3.2.3 rmdhost workstation must
be available for backing up these directories.
2. Perform one of the following steps:
– If you have already backed up these directories, type 2, press Return, and proceed to
“Backing Up Additional COMMAND/POST Configuration Directories” on page 17.
The following message is displayed:
– If you have not backed up these directories, type 1 and press Return.
The following prompt is displayed to offer you the option to back up additional
directories:
Note: The names of these directories, if any, are listed on the Upgrade Planning Form on
page 7.
3. Proceed to “Backing Up Additional COMMAND/POST Configuration Directories” on
page 17.
