The following prompt is displayed to show the options for the dump device.
b) Enter the option for the dump device.
– If the dump device is a tape device, the following message and prompt are displayed:
c) Type y to dump your master and agc databases.
The databases are backed up and the following message is displayed:

d) Remove and label the tape; type y and press Return.
– If the dump device is a disk device, the following messages are displayed:
e) Proceed to “Creating the Postinstallation Files” on page 15.

Press Y when ready ->

Please remove the tape, and label it as 'Pre41Install Dump - date'
