Loading/unloading a disc
1 Turn the power ON.
÷ The function indicator blinks in green.
÷ The display panel is illuminated.
2 Open the disc tray.
“OPEN” is displayed and the tray comes out.
÷ After recording or skip information recording, it takes a few
seconds before the disc can be unloaded because the recording
information is written on the disc. “OPEN” blinks in this period.
3 Place a disc.
÷ Set a disc in the center of the tray with the label side up.
÷ When loading an 8-cm (3-inch) disc, set the disc in the groove in
the very center of the tray.
÷ Load only one disc at a time.
4 Close the disc tray.
“CLOSE” is displayed and the tray is closed.
The disc tray can also be closed by;
÷ pressing the play (3) button.
÷ pushing the disc tray lightly.
÷ When a disc is loaded, the disc type is identified and the
information on the disc is read out. (In this period, “CD”,
“CD-R” and “CD-RW” are displayed alternately.)

Mise en place ou retrait d’un disque
1 Mettez l’appareil en service (ON).
÷ Le témoin de fonction clignote en vert.
÷ L’afficheur s’éclaire.
2 Ouvrez le tiroir.
L’indication “OPEN” s’affiche et le tiroir s’ouvre.
÷ A la fin de l’enregistrement du signal musical ou du code
d’identification de saut, quelques secondes sont nécessaires
avant que le retrait du disque ne soit possible, qui sont mises à
profit pour écrire des informations sur le disque. Pendant ce
temps, l’indication “OPEN” clignote.
3 Posez un disque dans le tiroir.
÷ Placez le disque au centre du tiroir en dirigeant son étiquette
vers le haut.
÷ Pour la lecture d’un disque de 8 cm (3 pouces), placez-le dans la
rainure au centre intérieur du tiroir.
÷ Ne placez qu’un seul disque à la fois dans le tiroir.
4 Fermez le tiroir.
L’indication “CLOSE” s’affiche et le tiroir se ferme.
Le tiroir se ferme également si:
÷ vous appuyez sur la touche de lecture (3).
÷ vous poussez légèrement sa façade.
÷ Après la mise en place du disque, son type est déterminé et
des informations le concernant sont lues. (Pendant ce
temps, l’indication “CD”, “CD-R” ou “CD-RW” s’affiche
alternativement).
