Programmed playback
Programmed playback allows you to select only the
tracks that you want to play and in which order that
you them to be played. Up to 32 tracks can be
programmed at one time. This function is only for
CDs and for CD-Rs and CD-RWs that have been
finalized.
1 With playback stopped, press the
MEMORY button.
With the RC-466S remote controller, repeatedly
press the MODE button to select the programmed
mode. The MEMORY indicator lights.
2 Press the numeric buttons for the
tracks that you want to hear in the
order that you want to hear them.
To select track numbers of 11 or greater
(up to 99)
RC-448C: Press the [>10] button, then the
numeric button corresponding to the 10s digit
for the track number, and then the numeric
button corresponding to the 1s digit.
Example: Track number 35: [>10] + [3] + [5]
RC-466S: Press the [--/---] button and then press
the numeric button corresponding to the 10's
digit for the track number, and then the numeric
button corresponding to the 1's digit.
Example: Track number 35: [--/---] + [3] + [5]

Playing CDs
To verify the programmed track numbers
Press the d/f button.
Memo:
You can also turn the MULTI JOG dial to select
tracks and press the dial to enter them.
3 Press the s button.
Playback starts to the order programmed.
To stop programmed playback
Press the e button.
To stop the programmed playback mode
With playback stopped, press the MEMORY button.
To clear the programmed tracks
With playback stopped, press the CLEAR button. Each
time a button is pressed, the last track is cleared.
Note:
The numeric buttons are disabled during programmed
playback.
Further, the EDIT/NO button will not work when the
MEMORY indicator lights.
Total time of the programmed tracks
Total time of the programmed tracks is displayed as
"--m--s" when it exceeds 100 minutes.
