Erasing data on finalized CD-RWs
■ Erasing all tracks
1 Press the EDIT/NO button and turn the
MULTI JOG dial until "All Erase?"
appears.
"All Ers ??" appears.
3 Press the MULTI JOG dial.
Pressing the YES button provides the same
operation.
2 Press the MULTI JOG dial.
Pressing the YES button provides the same
operation.
■ Unfinalizing the disc (TOC erase)
1 Press the FINALIZE button.
"Unfinalize?" appears.
2 Press the YES button.

Erasing begins. When completed, "Complete"
appears in the display followed by "Blank Disc."
The time remaining until the deletion is
completed appears (approx. 1 minute).
The display of the remaining time is only a guide
and the actual time until the process is
completed may be a little before or after.
The unfinalization process starts. The time
remaining until the unfinalization is completed
appears (approx. 1 minute).

After TOC is erased
“Complete” appears in the display and the
CDR-201A will stop.
Note:
If you unfinalize a disc that contains data for track
names, be sure to remove the disc only after
finalizing it again. Otherwise, the name data will not
be saved.
