Erasing recordings (CD-RW discs only)
The data recorded on CD-RW discs can be erased
and the disc can be used again as many times as
desired. The erasing methods are given below.
Erasing data on unfinalized CD-RWs
All track erase: Erases all tracks.
Last track erase: Erases only the last track.
Erasing data on finalized CD-RWs
All track erase: Erases all tracks.
TOC erase: Returns a finalized disc to the unfinalized
condition.
Erasing discs
Erases all data recorded on the CD-RW.
Note:
If "Disc Error" appears during an erase, abort the
erase and check the disc for scratches, dirt, or dust.
After removing any dirt or dust that may exist,
resume the erase.
Erasing data on non-finalized CD-RWs
Insert the CD-RW you wish to erase and place the
CDR-201A in the stop state.
Erasing all tracks
This operation will erase all recorded tracks and
entered names (the disc name and/or track titles) in
the CD-RW disc.

1 Press the EDIT/NO button and turn the
MULTI JOG dial until "All Erase?"
appears.
Erasing begins. When completed, "Complete"
appears in the display and the CDR-201A will stop.
Flashing
