Entering a disc name
When entering a disc name, set the CDR-201A to
the stop state in advance.
1 Press the EDIT/NO button and turn the
MULTI JOG dial until " Name In?"
appears.
To cancel name input, press the EDIT/NO button
again or the STOP e button.
Name function
The name function can be used for non-finalized
CD-Rs or CD-RWs. You cannot enter names on
finalized discs.
The names you can enter include the disc name
and track names.
You can enter one disc name and up to 99 track
names per disc. A disc or track name can consist
of up to 24 characters. You can enter up to
1000 characters per disc.
Finalization is required to write entered names
to the disc. (The names you enter are
temporarily retained in the CDR-201A and then
written to the disc during finalization.)
