To change a program step
1 Follow steps 1 to 3 of “Creating your own
program (Program Play)”.
2 Press V or v repeatedly to select the
program step you want to change. Then,
press
b.
3 Follow step 5 to program a new track.
To delete a program step
1 Follow steps 1 to 3 of “Creating your own
program (Program Play)”.
2 Press V or v repeatedly to select the
program step number you want to delete.
Then, press CLEAR.
The step is deleted. The following step is
shifted up.
To delete all of the steps in the
program list
1 Follow steps 1 to 3 of “Creating your own
program (Program Play)”.
2 Press V to select “ALL CLEAR”.
3 Press ENTER.
To turn off the Control Menu
Press DISPLAY repeatedly until the Control
Menu disappears from the on-screen display.
Notes
You can only program the tracks of the current disc.
You cannot use this function with VIDEO CDs and
Super VCDs during PBC playback.
Program Play is canceled and the program list is
cleared when:
– you open the disc tray.
– you turn off the system.
– you disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead).
– you change the function.
– you press CLEAR.
– you perform CD Synchro Recording.
Tip
You can perform Repeat Play or Shuffle Play of the
programmed steps. During Program Play, follow the
steps of Repeat Play (page 23) or Shuffle Play
(page 22).
You can play back the tracks on the current disc
in random order. Each time you start Shuffle
Play, the playing order may be different.
1 Press DISPLAY once or twice
during playback.
The Control Menu appears in the on-screen
display.
2 Press V or v repeatedly to select
(SHUFFLE), then press
ENTER.
The options for “SHUFFLE” appear in the
on-screen display.
3 Press V or v repeatedly to select the
setting you want.
xWhen Program Play is off
TRACK: all tracks on the current disc is
played back randomly.
xWhen Program Play is activated
ON: all tracks in the program list is played
back randomly.
4 Press ENTER.
Shuffle Play starts.
“SHUF” lights up in the display.
To return to normal playback
Press CLEAR, or select “OFF” in step 3.
To turn off the Control Menu
Press DISPLAY repeatedly until the Control
Menu disappears from the on-screen display.
