Incomplete!
Adjustment of the recording level after recording
or Fade-in and Fade-out procedures have failed
since the unit was either subject to vibration or
there is a damaged or dirty disc in the tray. Place
the unit in a stable place to minimize shock and
vibration. Do not use damaged or dirty discs.
Initialize (flashing)
The Setup Menu settings have been lost.
Or the contents recorded by the timer have
disappeared over time and are not available for
saving to disc, or Program Play could not be
activated since the program has disappeared over
time.
(The message flashes for about 4 seconds when
you turn on the deck by pressing ?/1.)
Name Full
There is no more space to store track or disc titles.
No Change
When changing the recording level after recording,
the recording level did not change since you
pressed ENTER/YES on the remote without
making the adjustment.
No Disc
There is no disc in the MD deck.
— OVER —
You have reached the end of the MD while
pressing and holding M during playing pause.
Push STOP!
You pressed PLAY MODE on the remote during
play.
—Rehearsal—
The MD is playing the specified dividing point for
confirmation during the A-B Erase function or the
Divide function.
S.F Edit!
You attempted to perform other operations during
S.F Edit (adjusting the recording level after
recording, Fade-in and Fade-out). You cannot
perform other operations during S.F Edit.
S.F Edit NOW
You pressed `/1 during S.F Edit (adjusting the
recording level after recording, Fade-in and Fade-
out). If you turn off the power before S.F Edit is
finished, the editing will not be properly
overwritten. Turn the power off after editing is
complete.
If you want to turn off the power during editing,
press `/1 again while the message is displayed.
Smart Space
The signal was input again after silence continued
for 3 or more but less than 30 seconds during
digital recording.
Step Full!
You try to program 26 or more tracks (steps).
Text Protect
There is CD TEXT information which cannot be
recorded on the MD.
TOC Reading
The MD deck is reading the TOC information of
the MD.
TOC Writing
The MD deck is writing the information of
recorded or edited contents.
Track End
You have reached the end of the track while
adjusting the dividing point during the Divide
Function.
