Using the MD display
Checking the remaining time
Press TIME on the remote repeatedly
during play.

Press TIME on the remote repeatedly in
stop mode.
The display changes as follows:

In the case of a recordable MD only. The
remaining recordable time on the MD varies
according to the recording mode.
Checking the track title or a
disc title
Press DISPLAY on the remote during play
or in stop mode.
The display changes as follows:

After 8 seconds, the playing time of the MD
appears.

The display that appears depends on the current
disc status:
If the disc is stopped: The total playing time of the
MD or remaining time on the current MD is
displayed.
If the disc is playing: The elapsed playing time of
the track, remaining playing time of the track, or
remaining playing time of the MD is displayed.

The track title appears when the disc is playing,
and the disc title appears when the disc is stopped.
If an MD that has no title, the track title or disc
title is skipped.
To scroll a long name
Press SCROLL on the remote.
The title appears scrolling in the display.
