AUTO STOP
AUTO TRACK must be ON for AUTO STOP OFF
or ON to function.
AUTO STOP OFF
When recording with AUTO STOP OFF the
CDR510 will record until stopped by pressing the
Stop button.
The benefit of AUTO STOP OFF is, for example,
when recording classical music, which could
have long passages of silence.
AUTO STOP ON
When recording with AUTO STOP ON the
CDR510 will automatically stop after a period of
silence. The silence will be recorded onto the
end of the current track.
When recording with AUTO STOP ON from an
analog source, the recording will stop after
recording 20 seconds of silence (a signal lower
than -40dB). When recording with AUTO STOP
ON from a digital source (without track and stop
data), the recording will stop after recording 4
seconds of silence (a signal lower than -80dB).

Menu exceptions
In some Recording modes some menu settings are overridden and/or manual track incrementing is not
available. For example in REC LISTEN recording mode, manual track incrementing is not available,
and AUTO STOP functions even if the menu setting is at OFF. The table below details these excep-
tions.
