In case of difficulty
RemedySymptom Cause
Amplifier-tuner/ CD player, speakers
Radio stations cannot be re-
ceived.
Noise interferes with radio
reception.
Preset call operation cannot
receive a radio station which
has been preset.
A CD is placed in the player
but it cannot be played.
Even when the “0 eject” key
is pressed, “PLEASE WAIT” is
displayed and the disc will
not be ejected.
Sound is not produced.
Sound skips.
A played disc is damaged.
÷ Connect antennas.
÷ Select a band.
÷ Tune to the frequency of the de-
sired station.
÷ Install the outdoor antenna in an
apart position from the road.
÷ Switch the suspected electric ap-
pliance OFF.
÷ Install the TV or the system at an
increased distance between them.
÷ Preset stations with tunable fre-
quencies.
÷ Preset stations again.
÷ Place the disc properly, with the la-
bel side facing upward.
÷ Clean the disc referring to “Disc
handling precautions”.
÷ Try another disc.
÷ Refer to “Caution on condensa-
tion” and remove the condensa-
tion by evaporation.

pears, then press the 0 eject”
