Timer operation
To cancel execution of a timer program
(Remote control unit only)
To set the same timer program again
(Remote control unit only)
Press the “TIMER” key repeatedly until
“PROG.1” or “PROG.2” appears.
÷ Also prepare the disc or tape and adjust the listening
volume.
÷ The reservation contents are held in memory.

“PROG.1” or “PROG.2” disappears.

Adjust the clock before setting the timer.
Sleep timer
The sleep timer is used to set the period after which the power will switch OFF automatically.
÷ Each press increases the set time by 10 minutes. The
sleep timer can be set up to about 90 minutes.
10 =20 ....70 = 80= 90 = Cancel = 10 =20 .....

Press the “SLEEP” key on the remote control
unit.
The system has been set so that the LCD bright-
ness drops automatically during the sleep timer
operation. (Auto dimmer)

Turn the power OFF or press the “SLEEP” key un-
til the sleep time is cancelled.
