Muting the sound temporarily
÷ Press again to resume the original volume.
÷ This is also cancelled when the volume is adjusted.
Bass and treble compensation
(N.B.: Natural Bass circuit)
Each press switch the modes as follows.
“N.B.1” ..... The high and the low range are
compensated according to the
volume (effective for low vol-
umes).
“N.B.2” ..... The high and the low range are
compensated independent of
the volume.
“TONE” or no indication
............... “TONE” appears only during the
bass or treble tone adjustment.
No indicator appears when the
tone is not adjusted.

2Adjust the volume with the “multi control”
knob.
÷ Headphones with a stereo mini plug can be con-
nected.
÷ The sounds from all speakers are cut off.

BASIC OPERATIONS
Balance adjustment
The balance of volumes from the left and right
speakers can be adjusted as follows.
1Press the “mode” key.
2Rotate the “multi control” knob to select
“BALANCE SET ?”, then press the “enter”
key.
3Adjust the left and right speaker balance by
rotating the “multi control” knob.
4Press the “enter” key.

Blinks
The responses of the lowest frequencies (BASS)
and highest frequencies (TREBLE) can be ad-
justed as desired.
After this adjustment, the N.B. effect will be disa-
bled.
1Press the “TONE” key to select “BASS”.
Adjust the level of lowest frequencies as de-
sired using the “VOLUME CONTROL” keys.
2Press the “TONE” key again to select “TRE-
BLE”. Adjust the level of the highest fre-
quencies using the “VOLUME CONTROL”
keys.
3Press the “TONE” key once more.
÷ The BASS and TREBLE can be adjusted independ-
ently in the range from –8 to +8.
