USB memory device is
not recognized.
USB memory device is in a format
other than one with which the CHR-
F103 is compatible (“FAT16” and
“FAT32”).
Use a USB memory device with a
format with which the CHR-F103 is

Files on a USB memory
device cannot be played.
USB memory device is divided into
several partitions.
The CHR-F103 only selects the top
drive, so move the files to be played to
the top drive.

Hard disk inspection and repairs
Depending on the type of problem, DENON may check the data you have stored on your hard disk during
inspection or maintenance. Note that DENON will not copy or store this data.
Note that if the hard disk must be formatted during repairs, DENON will do so at its discretion. When the
hard disk is formatted, all the data on it is lost. Please back up the data beforehand ( page 34).
